Why teams offsite

The best conversations rarely happen between two Zoom calls.

When teams step away from daily pressure, they regain the conditions needed for strategic clarity, better communication, honest reflection, and stronger connection.

Clarity

Create space for the conversations, decisions, and priorities that often get lost in day-to-day operations.

Alignment

Get teams on the same page faster, with shared goals and fewer costly misunderstandings.

Trust

Build the social fabric that allows teams to collaborate more effectively back at work.

Energy

Interrupt burnout patterns through nature, movement, and a real shift of context.

The hidden cost of staying in the office

Most teams don’t have a talent problem. They have a dysfunction problem.

Burnout, turnover, and misalignment quietly drain energy and money from organizations every quarter. A well-designed offsite does not just feel good. It helps reduce avoidable costs that compound over time.

“I have to say this is a very unique venue with a spectacular view and a really cozy, warm environment. What makes Vermont Hub special is how detached and separate it is from everything else. You can escape the real-world pressures, the constant emails, etc. When you put those things together, it's a great place to distance yourself from today and think about tomorrow.”

FAQs for Corporate Offsites at Vermont Hub

What is the minimum duration for a corporate offsite?

We recommend a minimum of 3 nights to allow enough time for teams to both work deeply and reset.
Shorter stays are possible depending on availability, but tend to feel more rushed than impactful.

How many people can you host for an offsite?

The Hub comfortably hosts up to 20 participants on-site. We have 18 beds available across 2 rooms.
For larger teams, we can organize nearby accommodation in Leysin while keeping the Hub as your central working and gathering space.

Do we have exclusive use of the space?

Yes. Offsites are designed as full Hub rentals, meaning your team has exclusive access to all shared spaces, work areas, and facilities.

How are work and meeting spaces set up?

The Hub includes multiple adaptable spaces:

  • A main salon for group sessions, presentations, and shared meals

  • A dedicated activity/work room for workshops, breakouts, or focused work

  • Informal areas for smaller conversations and 1:1s

We can help you configure the spaces based on your agenda (strategy, alignment, creative work, etc.).

Is catering included, or can we organize our own?

We offer flexible options:

  • Resident or private chefs (often preferred for offsites)

  • Light catering or partial meal plans

  • Self-catering, with full access to our professional kitchen

Many teams choose a mix — for example, chef-prepared dinners and self-organized breakfasts or lunches.

What kind of support do you provide for offsites?

Depending on your needs, we can support with:

  • Offsite structure & flow (light guidance or full design)

  • Activity coordination (outdoor or indoor)

  • Logistics and scheduling

  • Optional facilitation partners

Or you can run your offsite fully independently.

What amenities are available for teams?

The Hub is designed to support both focus and recovery:

  • High-speed Wi-Fi throughout

  • Projector & presentation setup

  • Communal and breakout spaces

  • Sauna & wellness area

  • Outdoor terraces with mountain views

Can you help organize activities for the team?

Yes. We can coordinate experiences such as:

  • Hiking and nature immersion

  • Skiing or snow activities (seasonal)

  • Paragliding or more adventurous options

  • Wellness sessions (yoga, breathwork, etc.)

Activities are optional — some teams prefer to keep the focus entirely on internal work.

Is the Hub easy to access for international teams?

Yes. Vermont Hub is located in Leysin, about 90 minutes from Geneva, with a train station just a short walk from the property.
We can guide you on the easiest travel routes for your team.

Is parking available?

Yes, there is on-site parking, along with additional options nearby.

Are pets allowed?

At the moment, pets are not allowed, to maintain a consistent experience for all groups.

Can we visit the space before booking?

Yes. We can arrange:

  • A virtual tour, or

  • An in-person visit, depending on availability

How do we secure our dates?

To confirm your offsite, we require:

  • A signed agreement, and

  • A deposit to secure the booking

We’re happy to hold dates temporarily while details are being finalized, depending on availability.
